Last week, our director Laurence took part in ‘The Big One’ Songwriting Camp in partnership with Notting Hill Music and Tileyard Music. With 30 studios and over 100 artists and producers attending from across the globe, the aim of the camp was to write the next wave of exciting new songs, as well as forge new relationships by bringing the best in the business together under one roof. Laurence said: “It was amazing to collaborate with songwriters and producers from all over the world. It was an extremely exciting and inspiring environment and I was happy to be part of it”.

October, 2016 has truly been a milestone for ChartHouse Music. Not only did we get one hit on the chart, we got two in the same week! These are our first charted hits in the UK, and we are incredibly proud.
Johnny Mack’s debut album ‘My Time’ has topped at number 3 on the iTunes Jazz Charts. Johnny is the hardest working man we know and not only does it show that hard work pays off. Johnny is a performer who knows his audience and they know him very well too. This can be seen by the loyal base of fans that he has built up during his years in music. He managed to get 200 paying guests at his album launch night. Needless to say that ChartHouse has been involved in every stage of the album, released by ChartHouse Records which now has had 2 hit records!
At 14, Lydia Singer is a completely different artist than Johnny. She has entered the Club Charts at number 36 with her song ‘More Than Yesterday’. As part of our artist development programme, Lydia has been in the studio with our producer Simon Brown. Lydia is also a very hard working artist who already has music videos, cover songs, original songs and numerous gigs on her musical CV.
The success of our artists just proves that no matter your age, you can succeed in one way or the other. As long as you lay a good foundation for your career, put in hard work and you’re not afraid of getting yourself out there, your chance of making it to the charts or earning a living through music will be much higher.
With many more of our artists having upcoming releases with us, we can proudly say that we are the UK’s number one artist development company.
